Fuji Gotemba

The Fuji-Gotemba Distillery was founded in 1972 by Kirin Seagram Ltd., 620 meters above sea level at the foot of Mount Fuji in the city of Gotemba. The average annual temperature of almost 13 ° C as well as the sources of water from Mount Fuji, are the elements that characterize the region. Four types of whiskies are produced in Fuji-Gotemba, a malt whisky and three grain whiskies. The single malt Fuji Sanroku 18 year old is the only malt whisky produced by the distillery, making it a popular product for its quality.
